When deciding to book book your fly fishing trip to Montana there are a number of questions
that you may have. If your question isn’t answered here, please feel free to pass them to our
staff via email, text or phone.
Question | Answer |
---|---|
Should I bring my own equipment? | Certainly feel free to bring your own rods, waders and flies. Be assured that our guide staff has
plenty of equipment for your use, and all of our fly fishing trips are all-inclusive. We will supply
rods, flies and associated tackle free of charge. We want you to have the best experience
possible. |
What should I pack for my trip? | Our water can be temperamental depending on the season. It is advisable to pack rain gear,
waders( for the cooler months), a few warm layers (for the cooler months), tennies or sandals
(for the warmer months). A few must-haves: a wide-brimmed hat, good sunglasses, a long
sleeved shirt. We are big fans of long pants, sun shirts, and plenty of sunscreen. Even in the
dead of summer, our weather can change in an instant and you’ll want to be prepared.
Sunscreen is also a key provision. |
What river will be fishing? | Usually we are unable to determine where you will be fishing until just a few days prior to your
trip. Because we have so many options for fishing, we use our most recent information to pick
the best option for your trip. |
How long is the trip? | Our trips typically are 8-10 hours. Drive times vary greatly so please let the guide know if you
have any time constraints. Once we’re on the water we usually stay pretty focused on catching
fish. |
Where will I meet the guide(s)? | Our trips include transport to and from your lodging, or the most convenient meeting place. We
want your fishing experience to be seamless and worry-free. |
Will the guide(s) bring lunch and beverages? | Our guides will supply a fresh, healthy lunch which will include plenty of beverages (non-alcoholic), snacks and a deli-type sandwich. If you have dietary concerns, feel free to let us
know upon booking your trip. We will always do our best to accommodate our guests |
